Team Gigabyte Spin Doctor team members might be interested in the following. Giga-Bike is a new and inexpensive software program, developed and marketed in Victoria, that allows cyclists to monitor all aspects of their training and development. They are sponsoring a local Junior/Espoir development cycling team under the excellent coaching of Steve Lund and I refer you to the team's website for more information about them. www.teamgigabike.com The team has a superb fund raising day planned for November 19th with Dave Zabriskie, the fastest Tour de France stage winner in history. A ride, meal and auction are planned as fund raisers for this local, Vancouver Island Junior/Espoir development team and it's hoped that some of the Spin Doctor team might be interested in this event. Download the event PDF. Further information can also be found on Team Giga-Bike's website: www.teamgigabike.com
Biking movies re-posted I had to take down some of bike movies that were up on the Spin Docs site because we exceeded our bandwidth limit. When I read the notice from the webhost, I thought it was a joke, but then I checked out the log and was surprised that the site had reached more than one gigabyte of data transfer for the month of July. We've got more space now, so feel free to e-mail me any bike movies of Spin Docs or photos or any Spin Doc news. Matt New Movies Lance

Bike to Work Well, it's been a while since I've updated the site. This upcoming week is Bike to Work week (June 7-13) and everyone is encouraged to pedal to his or her place of employment rather than fill up the car with "cheap" gas. Check out the official site.
Interesting Links Nothing new to report for the website. Please email
any news, photos or gossip. Here is an interesting link to look at: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Neil Rockerbie's BBQ Neil Rockerbie's (Spin Docs) BBQ (BYOB) is happening on September 27 at 5pm. Check with Neil for full details. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Seattle to Portland Bike Tales Seattle to Portland trip photos are up. Check them out. Helen Martindale's bike diary from the Seattle to Portland trip is online. Does anyone else have a bike story or photographs? Send them here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New photos from Brian Berry Hey, check out the photo section for Spindoctors in Copenhagen 2003. Everyone have fun on the cycle trip in the States and remember that U.S. medical doesn't come cheap if you forget your Care Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wanted: Spin Doctor photos from the U.S. race This is a notice to all of the Spin Doctors or cycling paparazzi who are going to be taking photos on the Seattle to Portland trip - please send photos from the trip to mattz04@hotmail.com. Photos will be displayed in the photo section of the web site. Also, guess what? Congrats to Steve Keeler, who broke the guestbook streak for nobody signing it. Alec Walton signed the Spin Doctors' guestbook on June 10, 2002 and one year and 17 days later, Steve Keeler was next. That has got to be a record. So go on, sign the guestbook and pretend you're Lance or Miguel. Cheers, Matt ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The BC Randonneurs are having a ride Any Spin Docs not doing the U.S. race or feeling engergized to go out riding this Sunday, check out what the BC Randonneurs are doing. This message is from the legendary Ken Bonner: If interested in the Victoria Populaire (Sunday, June
29), or the Victoria 200k (Sat. July 12), please go to the 2003 schedule
on this website ==>Vancouver Island===> then find info about these
two events. If interested, please let Mike Poplawski know (his tel. number
is at the bottom of the Vancouver Island schedule) or let me know by email.
This allows Mike to prepare sufficient paperwork for the participants.
Also, you need to arrive about 1/2 hour prior to the posted start time
in order to be registered for the ride. http://www.randonneurs.bc.ca/schedule/sch_vi.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
